About 111th Infantry Regiment
Our Mission
The 111th Infantry Regimental Association's mission is to serve as the focal point for regimental affairs, act as the repository for honors, tradition and heraldry of the regiment, provide a link to the history of the regiment, and pride in the regiment’s past achievements.
Our History
Founded in 1747 as the Associated Regiment of Foot of Philadelphia by Benjamin Franklin. The 111th Infantry Regiment is the oldest unit in the Pennsylvania National Guard, and one of the oldest units in the U.S. Army
